1. Click the Start button.
2. Choose All Programs.
3. Choose TGTSoft.
4. Choose StyleBuilder.

1. Choose the menu Tools... Options...
2. On the Image Editors tab, click on the New button:
3. Type in the name of your paint program.
4. Click on the . . . button, and navigate to your program.
5. You should now see this:

   

6. Click OK to save your changes.

For this example, we will change the color of the start button of the Blue.

Note : Be sure that you have "Setup your Favorite Paint Program".

1. The preview in the middle of the screen should be blue, if not, make sure that the Blue group button is chosen on the left side of the screen. After you click on the word blue, the preview will automatically update to reflect the currently selected Color Scheme.
2. Click the Task Bar thumbnail of the blue scheme.

   

3. Click on the Start Button located in the Preview window.:

   

4. Right click on the Start Button in the part window.
5. Click the top menu item

   

6. Photoshop will open with the start button bitmap.

   

Notice that pink or rgb(255,0,255) is the transparent color for startbutton.bmp. We would normally know this from the properties dialog in StyleBuilder.

We will now select all of the areas except pink:

7. In Photoshop click on the menu Select... Color Range

8. Click the eyedropper tool over a pink section, it should now look like this:

   

9. Click OK to keep this selection.

The "marching ants" will be around the pink areas:



10. From the menus, Click Select... Inverse...:

You will see everything else selected:



11. From the menus, Click Image... Adjust... Hue/Saturation...
12. Change the settings and click OK:

    

13. Save and Exit Photoshop.
14. On the Part Window click reset:

    

15. On the Preview Window click reset:

    

For the next step we will Compile, Apply, and Test.

1. On the Toolbar Click the Apply button.

   

You will see this :



2. Fill in a name, and Click OK

After a few minutes StyleBuilder will compile and apply your theme.

3. On the Toolbar, Click the Test button.

   

After Clicking OK on the warning message, you will now see this:



4. Click on the items in the left hand part of the screen ("CheckBoxes", "Radio Controls", etc), to see a preview of what the controls will look like.
5. Click the close button to close this window.

1. On the Toolbar Click the Zip button.

   

You will see this dialog box:



2. Choose "Attach the Zip file to an email" and hit OK.

3. Enter the relevant Email address, subject, and message. Your Visual Style will be sent!
