StyleBuilder Properties Window

The properties tab will show the properties that are available to what is selected in the part tree. This will usually be the current part that is selected, but can be at any location in the tree.

More properties can be seen by changing View... Inherited Properties & View... Empty Parts And States.

Please read the instructions that are located in the properties. It will tell you what a part does, and what good values should be.

The right side will change depending on the type of property.

Substitution Values

Properties with $'s are substitution values. $ScrollBarWidth$ is one of many substitution values.

Right below the top value of the tree are the substitution values section for each font.

Rather then have three sets of properties for each font type, we have substitution values for each size.

For example, take $ScrollBarWidth$.

Blue\Values\General\Sysmetrics :

The $$'s show that the value is located under Blue\Normal\Substitution, Blue\LargeFonts\Substitution, and Blue\ExtraLarge\Substitution

When normal fonts is used, the scrollbar width will be 17, when Large Fonts are used, the scrollbar width will be 19.

The default settings for colorize are shown here :

By changing values the preview window will be updated to reflect the color selection that you have made.

These selections will not be utilized until you save them.

Save colorization settings to one part.

1. Select the part by Left-clicking on it in the preview window.

The part should show in the part window.

2. Make adjustments with the RGB Matrix and the Hue, Saturation, Brightness.

OR

3. Select a new preset color with the Pick Preset Color control.
4. Check "To Current Part View Only".
5. Click Apply Colorization...

That one bitmap has now changed color

Save colorization settings to all parts.

1. Make adjustments with the RGB Matrix and the Hue, Saturation, Brightness.

OR

2. Select a new preset color with the Pick Preset Color control.
3. Un-Check "To Current Part View Only".
4. Make sure that To Image Files, To Gylph files, To Color Entries is checked.
5. Click Apply Colorization...

All bitmaps will be changed to the new colorization.

Make a new color scheme that is a colorized version of the current scheme.

1. Make adjustments with the RGB Matrix and the Hue, Saturation, Brightness.

OR

2. Select a new preset color with the Pick Preset Color control.
3. Un-Check "To Current Part View Only".
4. Make sure that To Image Files, To Gylph files, To Color Entries is checked.
5. Click New Colorized Scheme...

A new set of bitmaps will be created that has your new colorization applied.
